Deutscher Verein is proud to be the 2nd oldest Social Club of New York City still in existence. Although the “Verein” has changed with the times, the core values always remained the same: foster German culture and language while meeting with interesting people from politics, industry, and the arts.

How can I become a member?

Membership is by invitation only. Members can invite guests to the events.

If you are interested in Deutscher Verein, but don’t know any current members, please fill out this LINK. The Board of Directors may invite you as their guest to attend events.

After a guest attends a few events they may be invited to apply for an official “Guest Membership” valid for 6 months. After that time period the Guest Member can apply for Full Membership which is reviewed and decided upon by the Board or Directors. Each new applicants needs to complete the application form and have 2 members to “sponsor” the prospective member.

 

Membership Fees: 

Guest Membership is $200 (plus tax), valid  for 6 months

Full membership is $400 (plus tax) per year

Senior and Non-Resident Memberships are available upon request
